I saw an "easy to do" rain barrel project in one of my free magazines and circled the page, put a sticky note saying "your Sunday project" and put it on Mark's desk. Who would have thought it was that easy to request something! Mark installed our rain barrel and it works perfectly! We thought it might be too big but it's amazing how much rain collects on the roof. We've had 2 days of afternoon rain and it filled up each day. So now we can water the garden on the days that we don't get rain, and we're not using city water (read $$$) to do it!
